Supervised visitation is an important step in establishing a relationship with a child. Being ordered to have a Monitor present is a common practice in court proceedings. Sometimes these are in the final orders, sometimes they are included in a Temporary Restraining Order. We offer a safe and secure visit. With that being said, Children Visitation Center can supply a Monitor who is mobile, that way, if the court permits and within our guidelines, a visit can take place at the mall, an arcade, park, Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, movie theaters or other location approved by our staff. The safety of the children is the #1 priority. Rest assured that our Monitors are thoroughly screened to the highest standards, including a full background check, and will have certifications/training in other related fields. The monitor will be a neutral party and report to both sides equally. Children Visitation Center is available to assist parties and the Court in supervising interaction between adults and children and assuring the safety of the children .
History will judge us by the difference we make in the everyday lives of children.
-Nelson Mandela-
"I believe the children are our future. Teach them well and let them lead the way. Show them all the beauty they possess inside."
-Whitney Houston-
"To be in your children's memories tomorrow, you have to be in their lives today."
-Barbara Johnson-
Giving kids our undivided attention, and being genuinely present, shows them they are valuable.
-Leah DeCesare-
In the end, Kids won't remember that fancy toy or game you bought for them, they will remember the time you spent with them.
-Kevin Heath-
Parents are the ultimate role models for children. Every word, movement, and action has an effect. No other person or outside force has a greater influence on a child than the parent.
-Bob Keeshan-
Children Visitation Center is keeping up with the 21st century. For situations where in-person parent/child is either determined to be inappropriate or is not logistically possible due to other barriers, Children Visitation Center provides virtual supervised visitation. Virtual supervised visitation is not meant to replace in-person visitation time only supplement it: Texas Family code 153.015 (d) “The availability of electronic communication under this section is not intended as a substitute for physical possession of or access to the child where otherwise appropriate.”
In 2007, Texas became the 3rd U.S. state to incorporate virtual visitation into its child custody laws. Texas courts can order " reasonable periods" of electronic communication to augment a parent's physical visitation with their child.
Children, visiting Parent, and Monitor are able to enter a virtual room created by Children Visitation Center where the Parents and children can play games, crafts, watch movies, talk etc. Meanwhile the monitors are able to listen, watch, report, and intervene as needed.
We are dedicated to improving the lives of those in our community. Your contribution today helps us make a difference and assist with a parent that is coming up short on having a healthy supervised visit with their child.
We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.

Should I go with a Non-Professional or a Professional Monitor?
A non-professional is exactly that they are not a professional monitor it might be someone you know, it might be a pastor, a neighbor and they cannot be paid. Most of the time they are biased to one side, unable to write reports objectively.
A Professional Monitor an individual who has undergone the necessary training, is a mandated reporter, which involves a background check. Additionally, some Professional Monitors are CPR trained and belong to the Supervised Visitation Network Organization, which upholds standards of practice and provides ongoing training for its members. As an unbiased party, a Professional Monitor is capable of writing reports based on their observations of visits. It is important to note that their services are compensated by either both parents or one parent.
When you contact us what information do, we need from you In order to assess if we are able to take on your case we need to know the following information by filling out the application and emailing it to childrenvisitationcenter@yahoo.com.
Your name - Are you the Custodial Parent or Non-custodial Parent - What does the court order state in regards to visits how many hours a week - how many hours a visit - Are specific days/times on the Court Order - How many children and ages - any special accommodations such as being deaf, special needs etc., - County the visits are to be held in and general area - are there any specific rulings in the court order - are we the first Professional Monitor or a replacement monitor.
Once we have gathered the initial information/ application we will contact you to set up a zoom intake to go over the rules, policies, rates and any concerns or questions you have about the process. We will ask you to send us the intake fee should you decide to move forward and a also ask for the other parents/foster/guardian contact information and once the intake fee is received will reach out to schedule a zoom intake. Many times we are asked how long does the intake process take as the non-custodial parent is often very anxious to see their children. The intake fee can take anywhere from 2 days to 1 week or more it all depends on how fast we get all the paperwork back from both parents and complete the Zoom intake and then schedule the first visit.
Intake Process
The intake process is the same for both parents but is done separately. What is the purpose of an Intake? The intake process is needed so that the monitor can get a clear picture of the case, review the court documents from both parties, get contracts signed by both parties, gather information that is required and explain the Rules and Safety Procedures for visits that also need to be signed by all parties. The monitor will contact the Custodial Parent and set up a time to do the intake. The intake can take place over zoom or on the phone. Another meeting will also be set up by the monitor for the Non-Custodial Parent. At the intake meeting (in person or over the phone) the monitor will then go over the paperwork with the parents making sure that they have filled in all the information required, go over the Rules and Safety Procedures for all visits, fees and any other information that is required to facilitate visits and requests for information. The paperwork should be emailed to the monitor in PDF format (there are apps available to do this or one can go to a local mailbox /office supply store take photocopies transferred to pdf.Once all the paperwork has been filled out and signed, the monitor will contact parties to set up for supervised visitation or child exchange services. In order to make this process go smoothly and quickly the cooperation of both parties in filling out the paperwork and supplying the completed paperwork is required before any services can start.
Visitations
Once all the paperwork has been completed and submitted to the monitor the monitor will then set up the visit. Often even without a restraining order the monitor will arrange staggered arrival and pick up times so that the parents do not have to see each other.
